El Pindo Airport (IATA: MTB, ICAO: SKML) is the airport of the city of Montelíbano, located in the department of Córdoba. It is an airport with enormous potential given the growth of the southern region of the Department of Córdoba, known as the San Jorge region, made up of the municipalities of Montelíbano, Puerto Libertador, Ayapel, Pueblo Nuevo, Planeta Rica, San José de Uré, Buenavista and La Apartada, as a whole, this subregion has more than 300,000 inhabitants, many of them large landowners of Antioquia origin, and with the possibility of using air transportation from this Municipality. El Pindo Airport, after the cessation of operations at the Juan H White Airport in Caucasia, due to the closure of the Antioquia Airline - ADA, replaced this airport as an air connection point for the Bajo Cauca area of ​​Antioquia and the valley of the San Jorge, becoming the most important regional airport in this area of ​​the country.
