El Edén International Airport is the airport that serves the city of Armenia, Colombia and is located 10 minutes from its urban area. It was rebuilt and improved after the Eje Cafetero earthquake, which occurred on January 25, 1999.1 It receives flights from the airline Avianca and in November 2007 flights from the Colombian low-cost airline EasyFly began.2 It is capable of receiving aircraft such as: Boeing 737 and Boeing 727, Airbus A318, Airbus A319 and Airbus A320, Embraer 190 and Fokker 100 among others.
