Bratislava is the capital and largest city of Slovakia, located in the southwest of the country, on the banks of the Danube River, close to the borders with Austria and Hungary. Founded in the 10th century, Bratislava has a rich history and culture, with German, Hungarian and Slavic influences.

The city has a well-preserved historic center, with several buildings in Baroque, Gothic and Renaissance styles.
