Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ICAO: KAUS, IATA: AUS) is the primary airport in Austin, Texas, located approximately 5 miles (8 km) southeast of downtown. Opened in 1999, it replaced Robert Mueller Municipal Airport. With two terminals, the main one being the Barbara Jordan Terminal, the airport serves domestic and international flights, connecting Austin to destinations in Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
