Oklahoma City is the capital and most populous city in the US state of Oklahoma, and also the seat of Oklahoma County. It has area in other counties: Canadian, Cleveland and Pottawatomie. It was founded in 1889 and incorporated in 1890.

The city is home to the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team, which runs its games at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
