Palma de Mallorca, officially Palma, is a municipality in Spain in the province and autonomous community of the Balearic Islands, of which it is the capital.

It is located in the western part of the Mediterranean Sea, on the southwest coast of the island of Mallorca, about 250km east of the Iberian Peninsula.

Palma has a civil and military airport located 8 km east of the center: Palma de Mallorca International Airport, where Air Europa's headquarters are located. It is the third Spanish airport in terms of number of passengers, only behind Madrid-Barajas Airport and Barcelona Airport, with very large traffic in the summer, unlike these which have more homogeneous traffic throughout the year.
