This add-on replaces the default ground textures on Fuerteventura and Isla de Lobos with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the landscape in many ways.

1 Custom Ground Textures

• realistic manual color correction that brings Fuerteventura to life
• sharper image with more visible details (e.g. rock structure)
• no green tint, especially no green roads and no green sand
• no clouds visible on the ground

2 Upgraded Ports

• added docks and hundreds of hand-placed motorboats, sailboats, yachts, catamarans and ships to all ports
• added one container ship and cranes to the cargo area of Puerto del Rosario
• added one cruise ship with night lighting and a helipad that you can land on in Puerto del Rosario
• added a Fred Olsen Express ferry with night lighting to the port of Morro Jable

3 Enhanced Night Lighting

• added night lighting to all ports and piers
• hotel areas, pools, plazas, sports facilities, beach promenades, etc. are now illuminated at night
• added missing street lights in Morro Jable

4 Appropriate Vegetation

• added palm trees and other typical vegetation to all cities
• replaced trees at Playa del Matorral with typical dune vegetation
• improved vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e.g. bushes instead of trees in rocky areas)
• removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast

5 Accurate Coastline

• changed the deep lake at Playa de Sotavento de Jandía to a lagoon
• applied a custom water mask to match the course of the simulator's ocean water with the coastline on the aerial imagery
• beaches, islets, sandbars and other parts of the coast that were partly underwater are now completely visible giving the coastline a more defined look
• improved visibility of the shallow water areas at Playa Caleton Blanco

6 Other Improvements

• added exact models of all 6 lighthouses with animations
• added a windmill near Puerto del Rosario
• removed large warehouses in hotel areas
• removed incorrectly placed buildings on top of fields, pools, sports facilities, etc.

Compatibility

This add-on is compatible with the airport by MK-Studios, but you need to disable the aerial images included in the airport add-on in order for our textures to show up. How to do this is described on our website here: islandcreationsaddons.com/compatibility
