Lanzarote is one of the seven main islands in Spain's stunning Canary Island chain. The Canary Islands are perfect for island hopping with their beautiful beaches, high mountains, volcanoes and both forest and desert-like landscapes.

This add-on improves the landscape of Lanzarote in many ways.

1 Upgraded Ports

• added docks and thousands of hand-placed motorboats, sailboats, yachts, catamarans and ships to all ports on Lanzarote
• added one container ship, containers and cranes to the cargo area of Arrecife's port
• placed one cruise ship with night lighting and a helipad that you can land on in the Port of Arrecife
• added a Fred Olsen Express ferry with night lighting to the port of Playa Blanca
• ports on the satellite images do no longer appear to be underwater when seen from far away

2 Enhanced Night Lighting

• added night lighting to all ports and piers
• increased the density of night lighting in all cities
• hotel pools, plazas, sports facilities, etc. are now illuminated at night

3 Appropriate Vegetation

• added palm trees and other typical vegetation to all cities
• improved vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e.g. no trees on the lava landscape)
• removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast

4 Accurate Coastline

• applied a custom water mask to match the ebb tide coastline of the satellite images with the course of the simulator's ocean water
• beaches and other parts of the coast that were partly underwater are now completely visible giving the coastline a much more defined look
• appearance of bridges, islets and sandbars off the coast of Arrecife is greatly improved

5 Other Improvements

• added exact models of all lighthouses with animations
• added the Arrecife Gran Hotel
• added two windmills near Las Caletas
• removed large warehouses in hotel areas
• removed incorrectly placed buildings on top of fields, pools, sports facilities, etc.
