Explore coastal nooks of the Mediterranean and Atlantic, the heights of the Pyrenees, and legendary architecture of cities like Lisbon and Madrid with World Update VIII: The Iberian Peninsula. Microsoft has enhanced this region in the Flight Simulator world with high resolution geographic data including digital elevation models and high fidelity aerial imagery for an astounding user experience. Microsoft has also rendered six cities in photorealistic detail using triangulated irregular network (TIN) modeling built with the latest photogrammetry data: Barreiro, Bilbao, Cascais, Coimbra, Lisbon, and Malaga. Gaya Simulations has handcrafted four airports and Orbx Simulation Systems has improved the detail of 100 others. The update also includes 98 custom points of interest (POIs) by Gaya and 14 activities created by Perfect Flight: four bush trips, five discovery flights, and five landing challenges.
