Welcome to America's Space Coast!

Introducing Kennedy Space Center, featuring KTTS (NASA Shuttle Landing Facility) airport. Visit America's iconic and historic starting point of human space exploration, including hundreds of custom 3D assets (buildings and props), dynamic space launch hardware and infrastructure (launch towers, launch platforms, various gantries and Crawler Transporters), and rockets and spacecraft that took humans to Earth's orbit and beyond. And, this scenery is temporal - it changes depending on the era the user selects! Our exclusive "time-shifting" feature lets you dynamically select and set the era of space exploration, with the appropriate rockets and structures loading in real time. Simply use our in-game user interface and click on one of 3 space exploration eras to transport yourself instantly to the Apollo, Space Shuttle or Artemis/SpaceX era! Take a trip through the history of space exploration and watch the rockets and launch towers carried on the Crawler Transporter towards their launch pads. Save the flight in the appropriate era (year and date) and it will always load with the era-appropriate scenery and space hardware.

Features:

Complete overhaul of the existing generic and sparsely populated default area. Hundreds of custom-designed, textured and night-illuminated 3D assets. Every structure in this scenery package is custom-designed to accurately portray the actual structure on site in size and shape. Hundreds of custom props and vector-defined 3D assets that further enhance the immersion in realism. Size and memory efficient - heavy use of default texture maps and materials. Custom underlying aerial imagery, adding a subtle detail to the scenery. Thousands of custom vector assets (ground polygons and lines) that faithfully reproduce and enhance the surrounding area. Tens of custom SimObjects that are dynamically attached to form moving assemblies. Animated crawler transporter takes the rocket pad, launch tower and the rocket to one of the two launch pads. In-game user control panel that lets you switch the date and year between 3 space exploration eras: Apollo, Space Shuttle and Artemis/SpaceX.

Area covered:

Launch Complex 39 area, including Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) and the immediate industrial area, Launch Control Center, all Orbiter Processing Facility buildings, NASA press site area, and all the industrial facilities to the south, all the way down to the SRB Assembly and Refurbishment Facility on Kennedy Parkway and Schwartz Road. NASA Shuttle Landing Facility, including KTTS runway and control tower with a landing viewing facility, all the support buildings and hangars, and an Orbiter Mate-Demate structure Launch pads 39A and 39B, with the dynamically placed launch infrastructure, based on user-chosen era of space exploration All the support structures along the crawlerway to pads 39A and 39B.

FREE future expansion already in the works!

We are already working on further enhancing this scenery package, including SpaceX launch vehicles and hardware, AND live, on-demand rocket launches with realistic and LOUD launch effects. Also - this scenery will complement "SpacePort", our main project currently in development, which will be a fully featured expansion module for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 that will enable users to launch into space, pilot and operate spacecraft under accurate and realistic astrodynamic spaceflight model. Please join our Discord channel "TerraBuilder" for more info and support on this and all of our projects we are currently working on! Discord invite link: https://discord.gg/yNdb5HN2GC

Note: This scenery utilizes a separate, free package "Boeing 747 SCA" (available online from several free scenery sites, not included) that, if installed, will feature a static Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrying Aircraft (SCA) parked at the Shuttle Landing Facility (KTTS) Mate-DeMate Device, with an orbiter in the process of being mated on to it.
